HOLLYWOOD!

While South Bend just had a blizzard with about 3ft of snow...we are enjoying a weekend of 80+ degree weather!!  We have had some more relaxing days with less work, but have still kept busy rearranging the house and what not.  On Wednesday, we went to visit Jeremy & Amanda who live a block off of Hollywood Blvd, so we walked along the stars and passed by a line waiting to enter Jimmy Kimmel's studio.  Gary tried to get online and figure out how to get tickets - no luck.  As we passed across to the Hard Rock, lo and behold - a man passing out tickets to fill seats at Jimmy Kimmel.  Gary was pumped!  So we waited for a bit and entered the teeny studio!  The warm up stuff before the show was actually more interesting than the taping itself.  I guess they plan it that way so you get in a laughing mood.  There wasn't anyone we were too interested in on the show that day, but it was still cool.  And we were actually in two episodes because they pre-filmed some things for the next night ... an episode they hope could win them an emmy - i think that means we should get one too if it wins!!! anyway, short note for now - off to work - thanks for reading!!
